Meet Dr. Grecori Anderson
Urology and Urologic Surgery
Dr. Grecori Anderson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas where he was awarded the highly coveted, all expenses paid “National Bill & Melinda Gates Millennium Scholarship” for academic excellence. He then attended the Kansas University School of Medicine where he received a second full tuition scholarship for academic excellence and leadership in particularly under privileged communities, awarded by the NIH. During his medical training he assumed numerous leadership roles with organizations dedicated to serving impoverished communities with limited access to healthcare and educational opportunities. He also participated in several research endeavors in the fields of Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Physiology, Otolaryngology, and Male Infertility.
Dr. Anderson then completed his Residency in Urologic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital. During his training, Dr. Anderson gained robust experience in a wide range of urologic procedures, from advanced robotic surgical procedures using the da Vinci Surgical System, to management of severe urologic trauma. While he specializes in all areas of urology, he has special interests in complex kidney stone surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic kidney, bladder and prostate surgery, as well as both female and male urinary incontinence.
Dr. Anderson is known for his outgoing personality and empathetic disposition. He is passionate about maintaining a patient centered approach to health care and focuses on effective communication in order to empower patients to make the best possible choices they can about their health. He firmly believes that physician-patient relationships built on honesty, trust, and respect can lead to truly remarkable outcomes.
